Maya is performing at a standout level. The next jump is Ball Control.
Maya is doing well with pressing & defensive shape, and that strength is starting to show up in more live reps. The goal is to keep making it reliable when the pace rises.
Maya has moved Ball Control from Competitive into Standout. Ball Control measures how reliably the athlete performs this part of the game when the pace, pressure, and decision-making demands are real.

Milestones show progress in a specific skill. Players usually move through milestones with age, practice, and better game understanding.
Stages describe the player’s broader development level. They are based on the average of all skill milestones in the report.
Skills may be at different milestones. The overall stage shows the player’s combined development over time.
The player is building the base. Coaches are looking for understanding, effort, and cleaner reps before expecting the skill to show up consistently in games.

Maya's Skill Build: Ball Control
Your drill this week: Cone Dribble: Moves on Command
Dribble through a cone course and execute a different skill move at each cone, stepover, cut, Cruyff turn.
Choose one quality cue before the round starts. Run the rep under control first.
Elite ball control is about executing moves under pressure at game speed.
Set 4 cones in a line 3 yards apart. Label each with a move: 1=stepover, 2=inside cut, 3=Cruyff turn, 4=stop-and-go.
Sell the move, commit to the fake
You've got it when every move is sharp and followed immediately by acceleration.
Coach calls the move at each cone in real time, no pre-assignment.
