Mila's strongest signal: Upper Body Power & Core
Positioning and Strength & Power are already showing up as meaningful strengths in live attacking and transition sequences, and those strengths are beginning to raise the quality of every rep. The next jump is Stick & Ball Control.

Mila is doing well with upper body power & core, and that strength is starting to show up in more live reps. The goal is to keep making it reliable when the pace rises.
Mila has moved Stick & Ball Control from Capable into Consistent. Stick & Ball Control measures how reliably the athlete performs this part of the game when the pace, pressure, and decision-making demands are real.

Milestones show progress in a specific skill. Players usually move through milestones with age, practice, and better game understanding.
Stages describe the player’s broader development level. They are based on the average of all skill milestones in the report.
Skills may be at different milestones. The overall stage shows the player’s combined development over time.
The player is building the base. Coaches are looking for understanding, effort, and cleaner reps before expecting the skill to show up consistently in games.

Mila's Skill Build: Stick & Ball Control
Your drill this week: 3D Skill Introduction Circuit
Introduce 3D ball control skills (lifting the ball off the ground) by practicing ball lifts and aerial touches in a circuit.
A calm, unhurried mindset is what makes tight-space work feel natural — pressure is handled better when your mind is settled.
3D skills are among the most advanced stick and ball control techniques and are increasingly required at higher levels of field hockey.
Station 1: lift ball over a flat obstacle using the stick face.
Cup the ball, scoop the stick face under it
Success is lifting the ball cleanly at least twice in the circuit, it goes up, you catch it, you keep moving.
String all three stations into a continuous sequence without stopping.
