What UpLVL does

UpLVL helps coaches and sports organizations track player development, log sessions, generate reports, and manage team operations.

Information we collect

We collect the information needed to run the product, including account details, organization and team details, player roster data, skill ratings, session notes, parent contact information, and report content generated inside the platform.

Player data may include names, age groups, team assignments, photos, parent or guardian contact details, session history, coach notes, ratings, skill scores, and reports created from coaching activity.

We may also collect basic technical data such as browser type, device information, and logs needed to keep the service secure and working properly.

Categories of information

Depending on how you use UpLVL, the information we process may include identifiers and contact information, account and authentication details, organization and roster information, billing and subscription records, support communications, uploaded images, session and report content, and technical usage information such as device, browser, IP-based log data, timestamps, and error logs.

How we use information

We use information to provide the service, support coaching workflows, generate player reports, deliver parent-facing communication, improve product quality, respond to support requests, and protect the platform from abuse.

We also use information to administer accounts, authenticate users, manage subscriptions and billing, monitor reliability, investigate bugs and misuse, and maintain the security and integrity of the platform.

AI-assisted features

UpLVL includes AI-assisted features that may help structure session notes, generate parent-facing reports, and summarize development information. These features operate on the coaching, roster, rating, and report information entered into the platform.

AI-assisted outputs are part of the product workflow, but organizations remain responsible for reviewing reports, summaries, and communications before relying on them or sending them to families.

Youth player data

UpLVL is designed for team and training environments that may involve youth players. Organizations are responsible for collecting and entering player and parent data lawfully and for providing any notices or consents required by their policies, contracts, or applicable law.

We use player data only to operate the product for the organization using UpLVL. We do not sell player personal information.

Children's privacy

UpLVL is intended for coaches, clubs, teams, and sports organizations, not for children to create accounts or use the service directly. Parents receive report links from the organization or coach managing the player's development.

If children's privacy laws such as COPPA apply to an organization's use of UpLVL, the organization is responsible for obtaining any required parent or guardian notices and consents before entering player data. We support organizations by using player data only to provide the service and by responding to appropriate access, correction, or deletion requests.

Who can access information

Access is based on account role and organization membership. Coaches can access the rosters, sessions, ratings, and reports assigned to them. Admins and owners can access organization-level teams, coaches, rosters, sessions, reports, billing, and settings. Parents do not have an UpLVL dashboard and can only view report links sent to them.

UpLVL personnel may access customer data only when needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, support, or improve the service, or when required by law.

Customer data ownership

Organizations own and control the team, coach, player, parent, session, rating, and report data they put into UpLVL. We do not claim ownership of customer data. We use it only as needed to provide, support, secure, and improve the service.

Sharing

We share information only as needed to run the service, such as with infrastructure, hosting, storage, analytics, authentication, and email providers working on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the service.

We may also share information with payment processors, customer support tools, and service providers that help us operate product features such as subscriptions, notifications, storage, security monitoring, and AI-assisted workflows. These providers process information only as needed to provide services to us.

Retention

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain the security and integrity of the platform.

If an organization ends paid access without deleting the organization, data may remain in the service for up to 14 days. If the last admin deletes the organization, organization data is permanently deleted.

International processing

UpLVL and our service providers may process and store information in the United States and other jurisdictions where we or our providers operate. By using the service, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in locations with data protection laws that differ from those in your area.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect data. No system can guarantee absolute security, so organizations should avoid storing information in UpLVL that is not necessary for coaching and reporting.

Your choices

Account holders can update profile details in settings. Organizations can update roster and team data, archive players, and manage deletion and billing in settings. If you need help, contact support@getuplvl.com.

Depending on where you are located, you may also have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or export of certain personal information. We may need to verify identity or account authority before fulfilling certain requests.

Legal requests and protection

We may preserve, use, or disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our terms, investigate misuse, or protect the rights, safety, and security of UpLVL, our users, and others.

U.S. state privacy rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights under applicable law, including rights related to access, correction, deletion, and portability. UpLVL does not sell personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not use player data for third-party behavioral advertising.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date here and may provide additional notice where appropriate, such as email or an in-product notice.
